Volunteer in our Community Outreach Program
Footprints Community Outreach Program would not be able to continue without the hard work and dedication of so many local volunteers.
Managed by Annora, our Community Co-ordinator our team of volunteers work across all our Community Outreach Groups and Activities; which normally include Stay and Play Toddler sessions, Mother & Baby groups, Cook & Eat support groups, social activities for isolated adults, community outreach events, Community Cafe, and many, many more.
We are always on the look out for new volunteers to help across all our activities – if you are interested please contact Annora or Mandy directly. All volunteer roles come with support, training and development – our volunteer program has a proven track record of giving people the confidence, skills and qualifications to move into full-time paid employment. In fact of our Childcare staff team half of them began working for us as volunteers!
Trustees
As a registered Charity the Footprints Family Centre is governed by a Board of Trustees who are responsible for ensuring we deliver the objectives laid out in our Constitution. Within this group we are required to appoint a Chair, a Secretary and a Treasurer as well as provide useful skills to help the smooth running of the organisation – for example experience in Accountancy, Human Resources, Local Government, etc…
